The absorber assembly is intended for extracting solute water and products of oil decomposition from insulating oils. The assembly can be supplied both as a part of purification line and separately as an independent unit. The assembly is used for pre-processing of fresh insulating oil and processing of insulating oil during repair of oil-filled non-sealed electrical equipment.

Water extraction is performed via absorption purification technique by using zeolites as a sorbent.

The assembly is supplied with two types of sorbents – zeolite and silica gel – that can be used to remove both solute water and products of oil decomposition from insulating oil,

If the water concentration in oil does not exceed the usual values (100 g/ton), then the sorbents are capable of processing more than 200 tons of insulating oil.
